Monster iSport Headphones will not switch on

This question relates to connecting a Monster iSport Earphones to an iPhone X

I tried to turn on my iSport headphones yesterday and the device displayed a continuous red light rather than switching to blue when connecting to a phone. Since I had been away for a few days, I assumed that the battery was low and tried to charge the device. No lights showed while it was connected to a USB and now after charging no lights at all show when pressing the switch to turn it on.

Does this mean that the device is faulty or is there a way of resetting these Bluetooth earphones?
