Blackweb BWA18HO017 Wireless Mouse Keeps Disconnecting every few minutes

Mouse will work for about 5 minutes and then disconnect. I have to unplug the USB receiver and plug it back in for it to work. I've only had the mouse for about 1 month. I have tried using the "connect" button on the bottom of the mouse, but it hasn't fixed the issue.

Do you have other external devices plugged into your laptop ? If so unplug in case they are producing interference. USB3 devices in particular can be troublesome. To clarify, your laptop doesn't have built in Bluetooth support, you have to use the dongle ?

As far as I know, the dongle has to be plugged into the USB port. I've tried all ports to be sure. The dongle is the only devide that is plugged into the laptop (aside from the power cord, of course). At this time, the device no longer works at all. I have also attempted changing batteries.

Does the mouse have a 'connect' button on the bottom? If so its a model that should connect without a propitiatory USB dongle.
