Blue light blinking but no pairing happening

This question relates to connecting a Hytobi Portable Bluetooth Speaker BUY NOW to a Moto Droid phone BUY NOW

The speaker was working fine until the battery ran out. I charged it. The blue light keeps blinking on it and it won't turn on or off with the power button. It does still show as a device on my phone is able to pair with.

To clarify, is it stuck off or stuck on ?

I could never tell if it was stuck on or stuck off because there weren't sny sounds or anything. I left it plugged in for several days and finally the red light went off and now it works and recharges just fine. Thank you for taking your time to respond! It's so frustrating that these companies don't have websites that you can go to for troubleshooting! Enjoy your day!
