I charge my device and turn it on. It says power on and nothing else happens. It used to say power on, battery good, connected. It will not connect to my iphone and the blue light stays on and will not turn off.

Have you deleted the pairing from your iphone and any other device you've been using the contours with recently ?

Lots of JBL devices can be reset by either holding both volume buttons together or one of the volumes with the central multi function button. Do this for at least 5 seconds with each of the 3 permutations possible... let us know if you have any luck!

I'm having the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy 8. I have unpaired and tried all the button combinations. Still getting the blue light. Any other suggestions?

Mary, if this is a slow flashing Blue it suggests not connected. Are you not able to instigate pairing on the device by holding down the middle power button at least 3 seconds and getting the LED to change its pattern to a faster flashing which indicates its started pairing ?

For 2 days the light stayed solid blue. Pushing on the middle power button didn't do anything. 3 of us kept trying and the blue light just stayed solid and on. Checked it this morning and the light was off and I was able to pair it.

I had this same issue. The blue light finally went off, but now it will not charge. Any suggestions? Ive only had this for about 6 months. Thanks.

Put in the charging cable for a minute and take it off. It will power down.
I think this happens when you power it on and mistakenly hold the power and volume up or down at the same time.

My device won't turn on. When I press the power button, nothing happens. I performed the reset by pressing the power button + minus button for 5 seconds, it then turns on, the blue light flashes slowly, but no sound is emitted. On devices that were already paired, it connects, but it doesn't work. After unpairing, it no longer connects.

What happens when charging Wellington ? What lights does it show, is it acting normally in this regard ?

Sandi responded : 1:44pm, 29th April 2020 (1 year ago)
Yes, the red light stays on while charging, normally. After loading, I press the power button, but nothing happens.

I'm sorry, but the answer came with the name of another user.

Hi Wellington, sorry, you are saying that you wrote the last response about the red light but it wasn't with your own name ?

Having the same issue with the blue light on no matter what I am doing: unpairing, pressing plus and minus, 3 buttons together, 2 buttons, 1 button length of pressing doesn't make any difference. Frustrating!

Maria responded : 2:00am, 14th December 2020 (10 months ago)
Once I connected to the charger the constant blue light finally disappeared and I was able to activate and pair as usual.
