Can you first please confirm the model of your SilverCrest device ?

Thanks for that. Can you please give more information about what you have tried in order to pair? Specifying exactly the steps you undertook to try and pair the devices together along with what feedback the devices gave (lights/sounds) and any error msgs either side reported.

After having had no success with my desktop, I tried the headphones on my laptop, and they worked fine. I plugged the Bluetooth clip back into my desktop as I do with my remote mouse, which works perfectly, but for some reason or other the headphones don't pair. When I go into settings, it tells me to add Bluetooth, but that doesn't work. Maybe all this is because my Dell Optiplex 990 is too old and won't support Bluetooth.

It may be Morton that your PC has very old Bluetooth and doesn't support one of the newer protocols that this Silvercrest device requires. One quick and cheap solution would be to buy a USB Bluetooth adapter that you can plug into your PC to instantly upgrade its Bluetooth support to the latest standard. These adapters are available in many places and are also very affordable.
