Cant pair fitness bracelet ID107 HR

This question relates to connecting a Huawei P8 Lite BUY NOW to a HP (Hewlett-Packard) Pavilion w1000 Desktop PC series BUY NOW

I've got phone Huawei P8 lite and app Veryfit 2.0 from appstore installed. Bluetooth ON.
My bracelet is ON and very close to my phone.
When I start searching the device, my phone finds an ID107HR but it can't pair with it.
Could you please help me?

Please let us know exactly what happens when you try to pair in a bit more detail, step by step.

OK, thank you.
1, installed application Veryfit 2.0 following QR code in the bracelets manual.
2, turned on Bluetooth in my phone (I tried make it visible as well)
3, started the app Veryfit 2.0 - it starts add device menu and its searching for devices automatically
4, woke up my bracelet (screen on)
5, the app in my phone usually finds the bracelet ID107 HR and when I touch it there appears the button Confirm Bind device
6, and when I tap this button it looks like its trying to pair but that never happend. After it cant pair the device it just stop trying and theres again only same posiibility and I can try it again and again with no success.

Thanks for the details. If you go into the general Android Settings app and then go to Bluetooth what is listed there ? Are there references to the Veryfit device ? If so ensure they are deleted.

In bluetooth settings it is the same. I can see it in Available devices but cant pair it.

I have exactly the same problem, can someone tell me how to solve it ? Connecting to a WIKO with Android 4.4 works.

Unfortunately I havent solved it yet. And I gave my bracelet to somebody else. But I have found out that this is probably problem of Huawei P8. Can somebody admit it please?

Hi there. Unfortunately it seems to be a phone device issue. Got the P8 lite (ALE-L21, NOT 2017 model) trying to pair it with the same brand mate - Huawei Band 2 Pro. There's a very same result - it can be seen within the available device list but the pairing process is always unsuccessful. The belt itself works correctly as it's been connected to another device with no problem. Performed updates on both devices and all required apps - negative result. Shame on you, Huawei

Hi guys, searched here as I have been having exactly the same issue, same phone.
Tried every day to sync with no luck but today, finally it has worked like magic!
Maybe they finally fixed it? Just wanted to update you in case anyone wants to retry now!

Hi. I gave up. The device has been sent back to dealer. But I haven't seen any update for P8 lite provided in the past few days so I do not expect any positive change. Maybe a different zone... Anyhow, Anja, I like to see you've been successful :-)

Hi,

I had the exact same problem with my Huawei P8 Lite and this is what seems to make it work for me (so far):

go to Settings
go to Advanced settings
go to Location access
Switch off access to my location

After I did this, it could pair the devices and also reestablish the connection after switching on/off bluetooth.

Hopefully it will continue to work.

I have the ID115 smart bracelet and the Huawei p8 lite 2017 model. The box for the smart bracelet says you should use the Veryfit for Heart Rate app, but I found that if the connection between the app and the smart bracelet is lost or interrupted (for whatever reason) it is suuuuuuch a mission trying to re-establish it. And once it is re-established I have to re-enter all the info in the user section. I have since deleted that app and am now using the VeryFitPro one instead and so far it's working like a bomb.

I use Michel's method (above) to pair and once a connection has been made between the devices, the app will ask you to turn on your location

I have a FitBit Charge 2 as well as a Wahoo Tickr that I can not pair with my Huawei P8 Lite,(which I bought in December 2017). Both the Fitbit and Wahoo devices connect seamlessly to my iPad. However, I don't want to run or cycle with by iPad.
It would be great to at least have the Wahoo Tickr paired to the phone.

I posted a request to Huawei Support and according to the official response, it as a model-based problem. Out of record - there was a try to mark the BT4.0 (phone)/BT4.2 (bracelet) incompatibility as the root cause but it's definitely not the point. That mine worked perfectly with BT4.0 capable device.

So now it is about to wait for an update (at least BT firmware if it comes...), use a bracelet with older BT version or replace the mobile device. As I mentioned above, I sent my wear back to dealer so it's not my issue anymore. Anyhow, keeping fingers crossed for those of you that are still fighting with it....

Solved/Fixed, for me.
I had the same issue, pairing a ID115 fitness band (watch) for my daughter.
Tried pairing both through Android BT Settings, and the VeryFit 2.0 app, failed, every time (this is how their video shows to connect).

Downloaded Very Fit Pro, and that fixed it all, it paired instantly, and data is being pushed, accordingly.

I had the same problem with Huawei p20 lite. After switch of of Location access on my phone, then it could paring with my ID107 HR wearable. After paired, I turned on my access location on my phone. Let's see if it still ok or not.

Hi, I have the same exact problem, woth my Huawei P8 Lite and ID130 bracelet. I've seen many have solved by switching off location setting on the phone, before pairing. But, as soon as I try pairing it will ask to turn it on again. How did you do exactly? Thanks - Fabio

I think I found how:
1) let location enabled on phone settings
2) start VeryFit Pro app and start the pairing process: it will find your bracelet (hopefully!), but don't even try pairing
3) don't even try pairing: go to phone settings and switch location off
4) get back to VeryFit app and tap device to pair. touch device to turn it on: it will make it visible for association
5) on trying sync, app will ask for location to be on: do it as it won't harm now
6) after unparing (which is the case anytime you move phone away from phone) the same procedure will be needed again
