Nenrent S580 : Change the language?

This question relates to connecting a Nenrent S580 BUY NOW to a Huawei P9 Plus BUY NOW

Had the S580 for some weeks now, but as of yesterday all the prompts from the device are no longer in English but Chinese (I'm guessing). Not sure how it has changed and can't see anyway of putting it back to English.

We have a known fix for this. Note that for the fix to work you may need to un-pair it first from your phone that it's paired to.

Basically when in pairing mode you should see red and blue flashing lights. When visible double touch the home button on the device and this should switch language.

S580 - tried you method but nothing happens.
Used to be in English, suddenly changed to foreign language I do not understand. Place advise. Thank you.

Unpair it first. When in pairing mode (red and blue flashing lights), press two volume keys simultaneously.
