I have had these headphones for over a year and have worked fine up until recently. When connected to either my phone or laptop, the sound goes in and out, sounds like a scratched disc that keeps skipping. Quite annoying.

It sounds like something may have changed in the local environment that is causing interference. Have you recently added something electrical to the near by surrounding area? Either way, try using with everything non vital electrical around the computer turned off. Also try using with a smartphone, it would be good to confirm if its a universal issue or just with the mac.

I have the same issue. It works fine with my Iphone but I'm having problems with with MacBookPro at the office. It's skipping and the sound is awful. Maybe cause I'm close to a router?

Hi Allan its possible yes. Also USB 3 devices can produce surprising level so interference. Or maybe an internal office phone ? Try and move the speaker away from anything else whilst still near enough to the macbook. And if still no joy move the macbook as well. Let us know how you get on.
