I bought a pair of Cowin E7 headphones and I love them. However, I always forgot to charge them and they would go dead when I didn't expect it. So, I decided to buy another pair so that I would always have a charged pair to switch to.
Apparently, they have different "codes" or whatever and when I turn one set off and the other on, I sometimes have to fiddle around with the bluetooth and playback settings to get the current set paired up. Sometimes there are 3 or 4 copies to choose from in the "sound/playback" settings.
I have twice tried uninstalling bluetooth and reinstalling it. It might work for a day or maybe a week but the problem always comes back. For the past week, I haven't been able to connect either pair. Rebooting doesn't help.
Ideas please?

Device manager in windows has an option to show hidden devices. It's worth enabling that to see if there are other saved connections not normally showing which you can delete in order to assist with the process of pairing all over again.

Thanks for your response Mike. I am aware of that hidden devices option but even when I delete EVERYTHING bluetooth and then pair one set of headphones from scratch, once I pair the other set and then try to use the first set again, (so, one good use with set one and one good use with set two), the problems start. It's kind of like when I pair the duplicate set and then go back to the first, bluetooth doesn't recognize the first pair and tries to pair it as a new device. Sometimes it works but it usually doesn't which is why I can have 4 or 5 Cowin instances in device manager. I try to manually choose the right one but it usually doesn't work.
