So, I quite literally just got these headphones, having unpacked them yesterday, repackaging them, and then deciding to use them today. However, trying both wired and bluetooth connection, the right ear refuses to play sound. I feel like I could be doing something wrong, either that or my device (the Galaxy Tablet A 2016) could be past it's headphone usage date and needs either repaired or replaced, as I tried using other strictly wired headphones and they also didn't work in one ear.

I would connect them by wire to another device altogether and play something that you are sure is producing stereo sound. If still one side is failing to work I would conclude that they are faulty and speak to your retailer.
