Echo Dot not connecting now

This question relates to connecting an Anker A3106 to an Echo Dot

I had not used either for a couple weeks, turned on Echo Dot and my Anker A3106 Bluetooth Speaker and now they don't connect. The blue pairing dot is flashing, the power button is solid white, can't figure out what has happened.
