This is the third pair I have and after some time it always happens the same: the headphones switch on button get stuck and the device doesn't turn on anymore. I suppose it's caused by sweating, despite the product is claimed to be sweat-proof

Hi Eugenio. We are getting so many messages about these headphones and everything said by others does point to problems with the device. I'd really suggest contacting JBL directly at www.jbl.com/contactus where you can get a fault confirmed and hopefully get the item exchanged (assuming they are within warranty, you have proof of purchase etc).

Hi Allan, that sounds like a clear physical defect, take it back to the store you purchased from.

Hi I bought a JBL reflect contour during mid April. When I started to use it was alright , but it suddenly will auto disconnect. And now it just can't turn on at all. I only use it for about 2 months .......

Hello, I can report exactly the same issue as Linus above with my JBL Contour.
I used it once and it worked perfectly, and now, it has issues turning on, turning off and it will disconnect randomly... I only had it for 10 days !!!
How can I have it repaired or replaced, knowing that I bought it in Canada Mtl airport but I live in Switzerland

I have a problem with my jbl earphones.. I bought It about two weeks ago.. It was working perfectly, untill one morning I was on my way to the gym listening to music trough my jbl wireless earphones and all of the sudden the music stopped, I tried to turn and on of the Bluetooth on my phone but still the earphones wont reconnect, then I tried to turn off the headphones and it won't get turned off ! And there was a blue light flashing on the earphones like it does when it's working, but it's not working this time !! So it won't get turned off and I can't do anything about it until the battery runs out of energy then the earphones shut down automatically..

Dear, I'm having the same issues with my headphones. All of the sudden it doesn't turn on, even after charging it overnight. I also tried by connecting it to a PC and Mac, but nothing seems to work. Since I bought these while travelling in Jordan, it's impossible to ask for a repair or replacement. Please, advise on how to proceed. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I bought a jbl headphones and when it arrived I used about 3 days. Today I put on to charge the headphones and later on the headphones do not turn on/off no reaction, what to do?

My general conclusion is that these have a fairly high failure rate. The most popular rating on amazon is 1 star (although note that the averaged rating is a fair bit higher!) - so there seems to be a fair number of people reporting dead devices.

Similar to someone else above, have had for a year or so...working out the other day and the volume kept going down and it was just acting bizarre. I couldn't turn them off. Now, wanting to use again, and they are dead. Even plugged in to charge for a while and just dead. Nothing. Weird, will obviously avoid any future JBL products if possible. Ripoff.

I've got this same issue. I had a pair die on me 2 weeks ago. I found a new pair on eBay at a discount and that pair has now died. They only lasted a week. I can't return them since it was a private seller. It doesn't seem like they are indeed water resistant (as they claim). Probably going a different direction for the next set. However, I've had the same problem with the Beats. I had 5 pair in 2 years and moved to JBL thinking I could trust them. Does anyone know of a reliable brand to use for Bluetooth in-ear?

Had the JBL minis for about 1 month. They do charge but do not turn on. I only get a red light. I have tried to reset them and tried different chargers. Nothing seems to work.

I have the JBL E25BT, they had stopped working and charging. I was able to bring them back to life. Connect them to power, hold down the middle and volume down button until you see the charging light turn on, then release. I held down for about 5 seconds. Good luck

I have the same problem, but i clear the connect part because it might have been oxidized and after than it fortunately charge again.

Mike (Admin) responded : 12:09am, 22nd May 2019 (1 year ago)
Peter, to be sure, holding the power button alone or with a combination of one of the volume buttons for at least 10 seconds doesn't do anything to revive it ?
