I read a review on Amazon saying that noise-canceling can be switched on or off at you leisure, independent of the use of the earphones as bluetooth earphones. Yet my E7s only will switch on when the switch is set to NC (noise canceling). Is there some alternative way to switch them on when this switch is set to the Off setting or the BT(bluetooth pairing) setting? There is nothing in the instructions about this. I ask as I think the noise-canceling is making me dizzy (feels like your ears are about to pop like when taking off on a plane, but they never pop). So I want only to use noise-canceling when I am on public transit.

Cowin E7. With noise canceling function (they also make a similar model with no noise canceling).

Just to be sure, you have the standard E7 with the silver triangular buttons on the sides? Not the E7 Pro for example ?

Do you have the box that your headphones came shipped in? Above the barcode on the back, you should see:
Version : ANC NO ANC

If the ANC box is checked, this is the model that I have so this should work for you.

There's a switch on the bottom of one of the earphones that has three settings. From left to right (holding that earphone with the padding facing down), the options are:
1 - Off; 2 - BT for Bluetooth (I think, but it's not printed on there very well and the lighting here isn't ideal); 3 - NC (presumably stands for noise-canceling)

Once the headphones are connected you should be able to change the settings just by flipping the switch to the one you want. I hope this helps.

To clarify regarding Anonymous' last msg, this is the Active Noise Cancellation version, an option not all E7's have.
