I was paired to a Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime but now I got a new phone and want to pair my Skullcandy Method Wireless earbuds to my new phone but no matter how many times I scan, it can't locate them so I can pair them. Anyone else have this problem? I've already unpaired from the old phone and turned the old phone off.

Are you sure you are activating pairing properly on the Method earbuds ? What lights are they showing ?

Yes I was having trouble pairing it with a new device after using it with an old device, but I contacted Skullcandy and they gave me reset instructions that worked a treat. I will post them here for anyone who needs them. Thanks for responding! I had forgotten that I posted in here!

Quick Start Guide:

1. While device (Method) is on, please press and hold Volume + and Volume - simultaneously for 8-10 seconds in which time you should hear a long double tone. (Should begin flashing Blue and Red in the LED)
2. The device will need to be turned off for up to 3 minutes (I usually recommend at least 1 minute)
3. On your iPhone please go to your Bluetooth Settings menu and Forget the device if it shows up on your list by tapping on the i key next to the name. On Android you only need to click on the Gear and Forget or Unpair.
4. After forgetting the device, please turn off the Bluetooth for at least 5 seconds and turn it back on
5. After waiting the minute or so for the device to refresh, you should be able to press and hold on the power button for 5-8 seconds and the device will turn on and the LED will flash blue and red again
6. On your phone you should be able to see the Method show up as an option in your Bluetooth menu and you should be able to pair it anew. This process should connect your device to a new channel and allow for you to have better Bluetooth connectivity.
