Are you able to initiate pairing and get them to appear on another device such as a friends or families mobile ? It would be useful to confirm this to help detect where the issue is.

Press the power up and down buttons at the same time and hold for 3-4 seconds. You will hear two short beeps. This resets the phone and you should then be able to pair it with your phone... Took me several hours to figure this out, but it worked.

Thanks for the response! I was having trouble connecting my method wireless skullcandy headphones to my new phone - but this helped and they are now connected! :)

This worked perfectly. Reset the headphones as mentioned above, restart the phone and the earphones and voila! they are married.

Resetting alone didn't work. I had to turn it off and then on again to get it to pair.

Worked perfectly for me. I pressed the volume + and - buttons together for 2-3 seconds...heard 2 beeps. Then turned the headphones and bluetooth on my phone off. Turned both ON again and i was able to pair them again.

Thank you for the reset information, it worked and I was able to pair my Skullcandy Method to my iPhone X, but I dont have any sound! I couldnt hear the two beeps as described, but was able to discover and pair. Any ideas on the sound/volume issue?
