I can hear sounds coming out from my SoundMates even on lowest volume

This question relates to connecting a Tzumi Sound Mates BUY NOW to an Apple iPad BUY NOW

The sound mates are charged and connected to iPad and each other. I use Netflix and YouTube and when video plays, I can hear sound out of them. Even faint sound when on lowest volume. This happens with my iPhone XR too. They were working fine and then this suddenly happened.

We've had others report this but we don't have a clarified fix right now I'm afraid. I will highlight this question on the forum to see if we can get an answer from another user.
