Is it the same when paired to another phone?

I didn't realize to try that and I just did with my boyfriend's phone. The problem is still there. Did I buy a defected one? Or something

Very odd... it does sound like a fault. I'd return to the retailer for an exchange if possible.

Diana /Adi : can you confirm what you are pairing your uproar wireless to and if happened from day one or suddenly ? Did your phones have software updates ? Does it do the same on a friends phone or specific to your own ?

It did start to happen suddenly, and they won't work on any device except for my laptop.

Diana, when you say it works on your laptop that, the actual button works when connected to this as to be expected ? What mobile devices do you have that it's activating the power button on ?

Well it happened suddenly...the buttons work fine as while paring it works but it fails to increase the volume low or high, and No there wasn't any software update for the headset, in that case I did sent my product to the service centre as it was in warranty, but the issue is I couldn't connect to the service centre, as they are not responding the calls or my emails ,as I am from India and There is only one service which claims to have the official partners with Skullcandy products sold in India. Let's hope for the best if I receive any replacement via the company.

Has anyone come up with a solution? This same button problem started. The up volume still works, the down volune does not. They are very clean and seldom used. I did look for evidence of physical dirt around the button. None. I do not believe it to be a software problem. No updates. And the button does not click like it should. Has anyone taken these headphones apart? The volune is still controllable from the device the headphones are attached to, but will not work on the headphones itself.

Same with mine. Only two weeks old then suddenly the plus volume won't work and acts as a power button. I'm just going to return and replace, probably with a different make as clearly a common fault.

I had the same problem. Volume up button would only pause the music, but everything else worked fine. I took the headphones apart and saw that the receptor had been lifted from the circuit board. I just pressed it back down to complete the circuit, and it worked again. I soldered it back down to seal the deal. A simple $10 soldering iron avoided having to spend maybe $50 to repair or replace them.

same thing just happened to mine. So frustrating. My headphones are out of warranty.

Take it apart. Its a little difficult, but once you take the ear pad off of the right one, you can unscrew it, pull it apart and see what is wrong with it. I was able to fix mine as well. It just had to be lined up again, I dropped them one time which could be why the volume up button would work as the power button. The buttons inside of the headphone are small and need to be aligned perfectly.
