I have purchased a Lenovo Ideapad 5 and cannot connect to the Arteck keyboard

This question relates to connecting an Arteck keyboard (HW192) with dongle (not wireless) BUY NOW to a Lenovo ideapad 5 BUY NOW

Since it is not bluetooth - but connected with a dongle - I have searched the internet but not finding any clear troubleshooting. This keyboard worked fine with the Thinkpad I had connected to it last week. Therefore thinking it is something with the new Lenovo????

As far as we are aware this supplied dongle with the keyboard is NOT a bluetooth dongle. With this dongle you are meant to be able to just plug it into the computer and it instantly detect the keyboard, unlike with Bluetooth where a pairing procedure is first required. Does the dongle appear in the 'device manager' screen when you plug it in ?

No it is not recognized as a "device" no matter what I do.
I have contacted Lenovo support as well....
Worst case I have to buy a new keyboard
