I'm attempting to charge the case by plugging it into my Samsung ChromeBook 3 using the USB the earbuds came with. The light blinks red constantly, is this normal? Will it turn blue once the case has charged? I just got these and I'm reading the manual but all it says about this is: 4. To charge the case, locate the Micro USB port on the back and plug the provided USB cable into a power source. Case will reach full charge in 1.5 hours.

This is the only guide included in the one I bought. Thanks!

The light should change yes. I would leave them for a few hours and see if this changes. Let us know if it does!

I asked this question but didn't put a name on it. I can't find any way to add a name for it so I've made another one.

Ok, so I've left it to charge for at least two hours. Instead of blinking red, the light has changed to just solid red. I unplugged the case from my ChromeBook 3, the light changed to solid blue and is currently charging my earbuds.
Things I've taken notice of, and information some may find useful:

1. When the case needs to be charged the light will blink blue.

2. When the case is charging the earbuds the light in the case will stay solid blue, the light will turn off when the earbuds are fully charged. (I think.)

3. When the earbuds need to be charged, they will beep/ding twice before saying "Power off" and powering off. This will happen either individually or to both. Just depends on which earbud is low on battery life. (I've used just one at a time for phone calls. The microphone is good enough to pick up my voice from the same earbud while it's sitting in my ear, I
haven't had to yell either.)

4. After the case has been charged, the light will be red until you unplug it from the power source. It will turn blue afterwards and charge the earbuds.

5. When the earbuds connect to a device they will say "Connected." through the earbud that has connected. The other one will do the same when it connects.

7. The earbuds will blink red and blue when on and currently disconnected from a device.

8. The earbuds will also say "Disconnected." once when disconnected from a device whether you have disconnected them yourself or the connection has somehow been severed.

9. I haven't tried this but the packaging says incoming calls can be answered with the button(s) on the earbuds(s) by pressing the button once.

10. The manual/user guide says calls can be ended by pressing the button once, but so far I haven't been able to end calls this way. (This could be because this feature is likely intended for phones and not ChromeBooks/Laptops or was intended for it originally but ChromeOS updates often. The way the earbuds operate with ChromeOS could have changed with a new update, possibly making features previously available unavailable. This could also be because I am on calls through apps like TalkaTone and sites like Google Hangouts and Facebook. I currently can't test this with a cell phone but I will reply to this thread when I can. At the moment however I can't say for sure whether or not this actually works.)

11. The user guide/manual also says pressing the button twice will call the person you just called. I haven't tried this.

12. The user guide/manual says music/tracks can be paused and unpaused by pressing the button(s) once. I haven't gotten this to work for me but I'm on a device where the OS updates often and likely isn't the type of device intended to be used with this product.

13. When on, the button on the earbud can be held down, a solid red light will come on in the earbud itself and the earbud will beep/ding and say "Power off". When off the button can be held down, the light in the earbud will come on blue, the earbud will beep/ding once and say "Power on." and then begin blinking red and blue as it looks for a Bluetooth source to be connected to.

14. The audio quality is decent. I'm personally pleased with it.

15. They are made in a very similar shape to Apple earbuds. I find Apple earbuds to be uncomfortable and even annoying since it usually does cause me pain because of how bulky they are in my ear. The shape and radiation, (Radiation issues will likely always be present with Bluetooth earbuds. Use the earbuds responsibly, please do your own research to figure out what benefits you best, what's the safest for you, and what you're the most comfortable with.) are the only real downsides for me personally.

16. The user guide/manual says do not charge for more than ten hours. It does not specify whether this is referring to the earbuds, the case, or both. To be on the safe side I'm going to assume both. It also says:
keep everything dry.
keep out of direct sunlight & high temperatures.
keep out of cold temperatures.
avoid dropping the case and earbuds.
do not disassemble the case or earbuds. (The guide/manual DOES NOT SAY THIS. Please proceed with caution: Do not disassemble earbuds or case unless you are a trained or practiced professional with the appropriate equipment and safety measures set in place. You can be exposed to DEHP (and other chemicals) by this product. DEHP is a phthalate, sometimes added to plastics to make them flexible. The guide/manual does say this product can expose you to it, however it does not say what level.
From the official P65 website:
California law prohibits the manufacture, sale, or distribution of childrens toys and child care articles containing DEHP at levels greater than 0.1%. US law has a similar prohibition.
Why am I being warned about potential exposure to DEHP?
DEHP is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Exposure to DEHP may increase the risk of cancer, and may also harm the male reproductive system.
Exposure to DEHP during pregnancy may affect the development of the child.
Proposition 65 requires businesses to determine if they must provide a warning about exposures to listed chemicals.

For more information concerning DEHP exposure please visit: https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov/fact-sheets/di2-ethylhexylphthalate-dehp
The guide/manual does include a link to the main P65 website.)

17. This product was made in China.

18. Mizco International Inc, Avenel, NJ 07001.
Mizco Internatuonal, Inc.

19. The user guide/manual unfortunately does not include some of this information. It does however include a Tech Support number and email address.
Tech Support number included in the user guide/manual: 1-800-838-3200
Tech Support address included in the user guide/manual: techsupport@mizco.com
(I have not attempted to contact Tech Support. I have no idea what theirs is like.)

I hope this information is useful, I would love to post the guide itself but my camera quality is an absolute mess. If there is anything else I can help with about these earbuds please let me know! I'll help if I can! :)
(Sorry if I've practically wrote a book though or if this is against any rules. I'm new to this site and this is my first question post.)
