there is a significant input lag when typing. i have tryed all the bluetooth fixes founf online and there has been no improvement. lap top is brand new yoga, dully updated windows 10

This is very frustrating and I've experienced this myself on a keyboard with a Thinkpad 8 Windows 10 tablet. In short it was simply a lack of hardware resources and the computer not being powerful enough. It sounds silly but Bluetooth is very low on the priority list of services to facilitate so you can easily get a lag if the computer is under-powered.
I was able to alleviate it a little by reducing the number of background services and programs running on startup.
This was confirmed after various windows 10 upgrades, each one slowing the computer a little more and making the lag a little worse / frequent.
