Is there any way to turn off the blue flashing light?

The earbuds are paired to each other and my phone. Is there anyway to turn off the (blue) light that flashing whenever I used them? I plan on using them during a nighttime flight and I do not want the light to be a distraction and annoyance to other passengers.
