Thanks for your video. I can not do a hard reset on my JBL Charge 3 for some reason ( by pressing the Play and UP Volume buttons while ON ). It is in a mode where it ONLY turns ON when the charge port is connected, ( the mini usb RDA connector ). The bluetooth is also disabled. The way I use it now is that I have to use two cables....the RDA usb to power and turn ON the speaker and then I use an audio 1/8" stereo jack or 3.5mm connector to get audio from my computer to the speaker. I was trying to disable the Bluetooth because my kids keep bugging me with it: I believe that I used the "power button and connect button at the same time for a few seconds and it went into this mode. While in this mode and you try to turn ON the speaker by pressing the power button all the charge led's flash ON then off and the speaker doesn't turn ON. This mode it's nice if you want the speaker connected only through wired audio cable and it switches ON when there is power present in the RDA mini usb port. Now I've tried all kind of buttons reseting procedures like " holding the bluetooth and power up buttons together for a few seconds while ON, the connected button lights up white together with the power button led, the speaker turns this moment it won't turn ON again unless I disconnect the RDA connector and reconnect again....then I am up again at square one. I tried also downloading the JBL application but since the bluetooth is disabled it won't connect. I hope you can help. Thanks.

what worked for me was holding the power up and the link speakers (next to the power button) for a couple seconds (10 or so). this was also how it got into this mode.
