My JBL E25BT can connect to any phone using bluetooth, the problem is after almost 30 secs idle, it disconnects and hang up. The only way to stay connected is to continuously play music. Is there anybody experiencing this kind of problerm? and anybody know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

What coloured lights is it showing before/during/after this?

GG responded : 10:18am, 23rd November 2017 (2 years ago)
I have the same issue when E25BT is connected to either Macbook or iPhone. Seems like the earphones get hung up. Colored light shows blue when this happens which is similar when it is working perfectly. Currently, I reset by connecting earphones to a power source.

Exact same problem with GG. Everything works fine until last week. Can connect and no problem with continuous playback, disconnects after a few seconds of idle with blue LED. After that any devices cannot connect anymore and need to reset via power source. Emailed JBL a wk ago with no reply. FML.

is there a solution to this ?

Antoine responded : 8:24am, 31st January 2018 (2 years ago)
For me, it works fine until sound is running on the PC (youtube or similar). Once youtube is off, then it stays connected for 1 or 2 minutes, and disconnects. At that moment, blue light (not blinking), and impossible to shutdown, only possible to reset via USB charger.

How to fix:

1. Turn on the JBL E25BT
2. Pair and connect the headphone with the latest device
3. 1
4. Now the headphone can be discovered by a new device, pair a new one.

I hope this help you

same problem :(

i tried the solution mentioned by Gustavo, but doesnt work :(

i bought then 1 week ago

help!

Xosnik responded : 5:09pm, 14th February 2018 (2 years ago)
The solution is useless in this case since headphones are stuck being on. You cant turn it on and you cant turn it off. No button combination works and the only solution that works for me is connecting to power via usb, which was already mentioned. Its really annoying because I dont always have power bank with me when outside...

This might be a factory defect for this model. Shit

I have the same problem. I bought a JBL E25BT and it stop playing.
The JBL vendor change my device but the problem continues with a new one.
I think it is a factory problem needed to be resolved by JBL. Can they give my money back!!!

try forgetting and then reconnecting with the device.

E.g. on Mac
1. Connect headphones with USB
2. Open Bluetooth menu
3. Forget device labelled JBL E25BT
4. Disconnect headphones and hold down power button until the sonar sound is heard
5. Pair the newly discoverable headphones with device

Aque Ue responded : 1:24pm, 30th July 2018 (1 year ago)
Solution is simple! Simply, forget this device and then press the power button of the JBL E25BT, until the sonar sound is heard and then select such divice.

Second device, same issue... even forgetting and factory settings are not useful.

Viktor responded : 3:56pm, 7th August 2018 (1 year ago)
So, I bought my JBL E25BT just a week ago and had the same issue that it would connect only for 10 to 20 seconds. While charging them I noticed that the white light that shows that the headphones are charging flickers, so i'm guessing that it is a loose connection. Now i try to load it on a safe spot where the cable cant move, because after charging it once this way, it worked flawlessly for me.

Same device, connectivity problem, after 20 seconds it goes to idle mode (does nothing after that) and have to connect to USB to turn it of. Tried forgetting device and other tricks but doesn't work. Any solution?

I have also run into this issue, and I have tried all the suggestions in this thread and none of them work.

Brett Lee responded : 5:48pm, 7th January 2019 (7 months ago)
I have had this issue with two sets of these headphones now. I am only able to get them to work again temporarily by plugging into a power source and then re-pairing. I have already had one set replaced by JBL and now I am just convinced that this is a larger problem with these headphones. Do not buy these headphones.

Eduardo Favila responded : 11:39am, 10th January 2019 (7 months ago)
Agree with Brett Lee.
My phones work when they want to.
Sometimes, it turns off by itself.
Bad quality product.

Anonymous responded : 3:15am, 25th January 2019 (7 months ago)
Agree with Brett Lee. No accountability on the part of JBL at all? Defective product design fulls stop.

ASC responded : 10:02am, 12th February 2019 (6 months ago)
Andr solution worked for me as well.
- Removed JBL E25BT from all devices (laptop and iphone6 in my case)
- charged the JBL E25BT with USB
- turned it on (no sonic sound was heared - when it's ready to pair) - blue light flickered
- pressed + and - simultaniously
- JBL E25BT went off
- Pressed it on again, heard sonic sound to pair
- Within 5 seconds the Iphone recognized it.

Hopes this helps others as well.

For me only positive experiences with this product. Good battery life and very okay sound!

Thanks!

HOLDING DOWN THE - and + Button together, yes it worked!!! The headset Reset and was again visible while my phone scanned - and I cud pair it again.

Problem i faced : After unpairing device my phone would not find the headset in search nor headset would come to pairing mode.
