I bought some JBL bluetooth earbuds a little over a month ago and they were working great, the sound quality was good and it connected easily. About two days ago I held down the power button to turn it on and it didn't show the flashing light that it usually does when I turn it on.

I connected the device to the power cord and it turned on and started working again, but now I can't turn it off. Also, it shows a steady blue light which usually indicates that it is paired with a bluetooth device, but it isn't connected to anything. Please Help!!!

Hi Jana are you still having this problem? I assume its turned itself off now. Have you been able to repair and if not do you know how to reset it ?

I have the same problem!

I've found that the only way to turn it on and off is by plugging it into the powercord.

When I first plugged it in, it turned off ( Or at least showed that it was charging) which was great. After unplugging it If you hold down the power button it turns on like it normally would and works great. The only issue I have with it now is that If My music stops playing for about 10 seconds, it disconnects from my phone and won't let me turn it off or reconnect to it. It also shows a steady blue light like mentioned above as if it is connected to another device.

I've found a solution to some of the problems that I am dealing with. The only way for me to turn it off without plugging it back in to the power cord is to turn it off while my music is still playing, so that it isn't disconnected from my device; which makes so that It won't disconnect by it's self and not let me turn it off.

Sorry if this sounds confusing, it is really hard to explain :/ But it now works for me, and I hope this helps somebody!

These are the worst headphones I've ever bought. One ear stopped working after a few weeks and now won't turn off.

I am having the same problem. I tried the volume + and - simultaneously; but it is not turning off.
These are less than a month old.

Anne, pressing the power button for 10 seconds to reset them doesn't help ? We had solutions to somewhat similar issues with this action.

Press and hold "volume +" and "volume -" on the same time, after reset, leave de phone on, and plug to charge.

Soon after you plug the device to charge, unplug.

This stepsworkd to me, and a was able to turn on and off normally.
