This is very likely a fault in the wiring, we've had others report this. You may well be able to confirm this by moving the cable around slowly whilst playing music. If you get a sudden restoration of sound this would confirm it as being a cable fault. I'd get it exchanged.

I have the same issue, the left bud is not functioning. I tried twisting the wire as instructed but it didn't work. I only have this for less than a month.

I also have no audio from one of the buds of my JBL Tune110BT. When I shake it there is tinkling noise as though an internal part has come adrift. As the unit is useless without stereo I have dismantled the bud with difficulty and found that the coil has detached from the speaker diaphragm. Impossible to fix. Very disappointed as this unit is less than 6 months old and I cannot find the sales receipt to claim warranty. Very poor quality from JBL. Reflects badly on the brand.
