JBL Tune 500BT red light won't turn off

This question relates to connecting a JBL Tune 500 BT BUY NOW to a Macbook Air BUY NOW

Hi! So I just bought this headphones the other day. I turned on the headphones to check if the sound quality is good, after checking I turned it off already. Hours passed, I decided to charge it, when I plugged the headphones, the red light turned on, I just ignored it thinking it's maybe because it's just charging. After about 2 hours, the red light did not turn off so I decided to wait longer and charged it overnight. In the morning when I woke up I checked if the red light already turned off, but unfortunately it's still on. Maybe you guys could help me with this problem?

P.S I used the original cord that came with the headphones and the right adapter.

I don't think we've heard of this particular problem before. Just to check, it should be fine to use them, are they actually working? Assuming they are I would just try to use them and put them now through a normal discharge process (by using them until the battery is depleted). Then charge fully and see if any different.

If they don't function to pair and play back anywhere near the stated battery run time level then it would suggest a fault and I would get them exchanged from your retailer straight away.

Hi thank you for responding! The red light already turned off but now I can't turn on my headphones even pressing the power button for almost a minute won't work.

I would definitely return these for another one as you've only just received them.
