Kyocera Duraforce Pro 2 : Bluetooth connection from phone to vehicle

This question relates to connecting a Kyocera Duraforce Pro 2 BUY NOW to a Chevy Silverado BUY NOW

I recently switched from Kyocera Duraforce to the Duraforce Pro 2 and love the phone, but it is very difficult to pair with 2018 Chevy Silverado. I have deleted all other devices on the truck, and deleted the previous connections on the phone.

I can get it to connect but I have to make several attempts every time I try to pair and sometimes have to restart the phone and the truck. It will pair just about every time, but then disconnects very quickly. Both the truck and the phone show it as connection but the phone, messaging and stereo will not work through the truck. My Chevy dealer says it's the phone and ATT says its the truck. Any ideas?? Thank you.

This is/was a Kyocera/Android issue that caused problems with bluetooth connections. If you are running Android 5.0 there is a recent update that resolves the issue.
