I was using my speaking as usual early on in the day, when all of a sudden I went to go turn it on later that same day and instead of turning on the Chant Mini just had a blue blinking like that keeps rapidly going. It no longer connects to anything and I can't do anything other than watch the blue light blink. Usually when I turn it on it makes a power on sound, and that no longer happens.

If you hold down the power or bluetooth buttons for 3 seconds or more it doesn't change the status of the device at all ?

The exact same thing happen to me this morning. And I did the 3 seconds thing but it just turns off (without making any sound) and then if I try again the blue light will start blinking again but it wont make the turn on sound nor will it connect to anything.

Belen, you have another device to try pairing it with, same thing no joy?

Belen responded : 6:36pm, 3rd September 2018 (3 years ago)
Hi Colin, yes I did try to find the speaker with other devices, but the problem remains. I have tried plugging it, charging it, and also I stopped trying for a couple of days, but when I tried again, it keeps turning the blue light on, but not the speaker itself.

Today... Same problem. I just plug and play with the auxiliary wire, then unplugged just Leave the light on and magical a few hours later the sound of Bluetooth disconnect solve the problem. Hope this be helpful to you.

From another post ( , with the Marley off, hold its power and Bluetooth buttons down at the same time while you watch your phone's screen for the Marley to show up in the Bluetooth list again. This took mine about 10 seconds. They Marley Get Together will power on during this process.

You should now see the Chant if you search for it on your device. It may pair now but if it doesn't turn off the chant, delete any pairing from the device and then turn on the Chant one final time. pressing the bluetooth button for 3 seconds or so.

I have the same problem, blue light keeps blinking and device doesnt show up for pairing.
I tried pressing different buttons and different combination of buttons. But nothing changes.
What else can I try?

Nikhil, what device are you pairing to ? And did it work previously? What about pairing to something else, does it work then ?

@Pedro - I am having the same problem on this thread. Holding down the power and bluetooth buttons together are not making the Marley show up on my bluetooth menu on my iPhone.

Any solutions?

I just have the blinking blue light. When I plug an aux - USB cable into the Marley and my laptop I get a solid red light (I guess that indicates it's charging).

My Chanti Mini and I were doing fine and then not. For my phone, if the blue light on the Chanti keeps blinking and won't connect to the phone, I turn the phone's bluetooth off, turn it back on again and then choose the mini from the list.

I think this is happening because I'm switching the chanti from the computer to the phone. The computer is a little trickier because it sometimes says it is already connected. But I think disconnecting it from both devices and then choosing one to connect it to is the solve. Let me try that right now. I was using the Chanti with my phone about an hour ago.

When I search my computer for bluetooth and go to settings it shows Chanti as paired.
Bluetooth is off on my phone.
I turn on Chanti
It blinks at me.
I start a youtube video, but no sound.
I go back into the Bluetooth window and select the Chanti.
It says 'Paired', but I need to hit the 'Connect' button.

I had a windows update once and lots of things didn't work quite right and had to be re-setup.

That's all I got. Good luck!

To resolve the blinking blue light on the Marley Chant Mini and its inhability to connect via bluethoot, I did the folowing : I connected the Chant Mini to my cell phone via plug audio cable and I let the battery discharge. After the Chant Mini carged again, I was able to connect via bluethoot and the Marley was back to normal. I hope this helps
