My headphones connect to my Garmin 645 Music, but whilst I run, when my arm swings forward, the music plays, and then when my arm swings backwards the music stops, it works if I run holding my watch to my ear

This sounds like a reception issue. Does it do it constantly wherever you are or is it possible that in some locations you don't have to hold it to your ear for it to work ?

Hi, yes wherever I am. I was advised to update my JBL's but there are no updates available for the one's I own.

And if you hold them at different distances apart does it become more/less likely to do it ?
