When taken out of the case, one of the earbuds won't turn on, even if tried to turn on by long pressing. It also won't charge and would just blink blue and red when connected to the charger.

Are there any metal contacts on the buds that are visible that make contact with prongs in the case for charging ? If so it may be a good idea to clean them. If this doesn't help, I'd suggest talking to your retailer.
