I just got these earbuds from BestBuy, they connected with no problem to my iPod Touch 5th gen, but when I tried to get my laptop to connect, it couldn't find it. I have search for a device turned on on my laptop, the earbuds are on and waiting for a device. I disconnected them from my iPod and turned off Bluetooth for that device. My laptop can't seen to find it... It says it's searching for a devices but finds nothing.

Hi Melody does the laptop work with other bluetooth devices? Also are you 100% sure that the earbuds are in pair mode as they may initiate pairing automatically the first time you turn them on and paired them to the ipod.

Yes. My laptop has a Bluetooth function. Also, I turned off and disabled my iPod when I tried to connect the headphones to my computer. They are definitely on. Is there a software my computer needs to be able to connect to them?

Hi are you able to check if the bluetooth works with other devices on the laptop? There shouldn't be anything else needed to make the headphones work, thats the good thing about bluetooth in theory.

Hey Melody, I want to still know how to connect to the laptop, I connected it. Turn on the bluetooth pairing screen on the laptop - keep the search mode on - Now keep pressing the center button on the earphones till it flashes Red/blue continuously - then the SB wireless will appear on the screen and you can connect it. Hope this helps. Cheers.

I did figure out how to get these to connect, if you hold the volume up and down buttons at the same time, it resets the headset. Turn them back on and they should show up on your computer. Make sure you turn off the bluetooth on your phone or whatever else you have them connected too. You'll have to reset them again before connecting them to something else. Also, you'll need to make your device 'forget' or remove the headset before reconnecting them.

Thank you Mel! Holding both the Volume Up and Down buttons simultaneously to reset the headset worked for me. Right after doing that and resetting the headset, my computer saw it as SB2 Wireless and I was able to connect.

Hey Mel, I've got these method wireless skullcandy earphones, I did try resetting them before connecting them to the laptop and that worked too, but it's a little annoying to keep resetting it everytime I want to connect it to the laptop because as soon as I connect it with my phone, my laptop won't recognize it, Is there a way in which two devices can be connected simultaneously?

Hi All, I seem to have a new solution to this.

1. On your Smokin bud Wireless headphone
2. Press + and - keys till beep sound there.
3. Turn it off
4.Start searching for headphone on PC
5. Turn on while pc is searching.!! Wooah..Done...Enjoy

THANK YOU so much for sharing the solution of resetting the headset by holding volume + and - at the same time. Before this, I had spent a LONG time trying to get my Smokin Buds to pair with my iMac. Nothing had worked! Appreciate your help.
