Plugged speaker in last night. Red light won't turn off, even after disconnecting from the power source. Will not connect to my phone

A fair number of JBL devices can be reset by holding down a combination of buttons. Often it's the power button together with one of the volume buttons for some seconds (I'd say at least 4 or 5). Can you try experimenting with this a little to see if any combination of long button presses assists ?
