Oneplus Bullets Wireless earphone paired with my laptop but is not playing audio

This question relates to connecting an Oneplus Bullets Wireless BUY NOW to a Dell Inspiron 14 3420 BUY NOW

My bluetooth earphone got connected with my phone and is working perfectly but when I connected it to my laptop it is not working. It got added into devices and printers but it is not shown in the playback devices window. I updated my bluetooth drivers . I also unpaired and paired many times. It shows connected but it doesnt play audio. My wired headset works perfectly. My bluetooth version is 4.0. I read somewhere online that I need more 4.0 for bluetooth earphones to work. Is there anyway I could connect and listen through my bluetooth earphones ?

Windows 7 is somewhat problematic with Bluetooth. Also really you should upgrade now because since January 14, 2020 update support has officially ended so you may well be vulnerable to security flaws if using this computer online.

However having said that if you go into the Control Panel and sounds window does it appear there ? If so what about setting it 'to default', that can often help.
