Onn TWS Earphones : original cable lost

I have a pair of the Onn TWS earbuds and lost the original cable recently. i bought a standard USB-c cable that fits the slot but it does not charge the headphones regardless of the power source. Do i just need to get a new pair and retire these, or should i hunt down the original cable?

What's your exact model number ? We have this down as using a micro usb cable.
