We've not heard anyone else complain of this before. It's a bit of a long shot but you could try resetting the phone and testing if it works on a fresh install, on the assumption that there is too much software installed draining resources. Otherwise if you don't want to go through that I would try to just clarify where the problem is by using the E25BT on someone elses phone and ideally some other device with micrphone on your own phone.
