Power light doesn't blink blue and red

Turned speaker on. Light Held power button down for 3 seconds. Light doesn't blink blue and red. Speaker just shuts off. What do I do?

How long have you used the speaker for since purchase ? This sounds like it might not be holding its battery charge. if you keep it charging and then try to pair what happens ?
