We've had another user report this. We will let you know if we get any information clarifying the issue. Does it help at all to charge it or can it happen very soon after a charge ?

I just had a similar experience. I bought it tonight and paired it with my phone and tested it by calling the phone number. It works fine for what I need and that is a remote speaker to hear the ringtone on my phone when a call comes in. Then 15 minutes elapsed and I tested it again and it failed. Turns out it was powered off. If this is typical, I'll be returning it. I can't risk missing important business calls due to defective firmware in a $15 product.

Update: I just found an updated user manual (newer than the one which came with the product I purchased) and it does indeed say that it will auto power off. I'll be returning it. What a shame. Thought I had found a solution to a problem with these junk children's toys they call cell phones.
