Can you give details about the lights they produce and clarify if you paired to the tablet before or after trying to pair the buds together?

Lacey responded : 5:52pm, 29th July 2018 (1 year ago)
I am having the same problem. When I push both of the buttons at the same time, the left on will turn on and flash red and blue but wont pair with the right one. It appears the right one wont turn on at all. The blue light only turns on when its plugged into the charger.

Double click the buttons on the headphone. Should say teen pairing (at least that's what I hear) then wait. It will say successful and then they will connect.

I have the same question I tried double clicking and all it did was make one chime and blink faster on the left ear bud.

Guys in order to connect them completely start over disconnect them both turn them on at the same time once they both say power on double click the left earbud and u will hear a beep and then they will be connected if the first time clicking the left earbud doesn't work try it again - you're welcome.

This may be a lot to do in order to get them fixed, but Heres what you do:
1. Turn off both headphones
2. Turn off Bluetooth
3. Turn both headphones on at the same time
4. Turn Bluetooth on. Once you do that, there should be two pairings thats say Tzumi Soundmates. Theres only one that should make both of them work. Test out both of them and see which one works. They worked for mine.

Francisco Santos, thank you so much!! Your advice worked!!

Jamie responded : 5:43am, 30th November 2018 (10 months ago)
i couldn't get the sound to come out of both of the soundmates. I'm not sure if this method will work for anyone but I just wanted to put it out there. I went to my steering and then clicked on general then accessibility and I scrolled all the way down and then you will see an L on the left side of a line and an R on the right side of the line. You will want to drag the circle to the middle of the line. After that I turned on Bluetooth and Both soundmates and then click on the device (Tzumi Soundmates).

ANSWER IS HERE::::::::
First thing you have to do is
1. Disconnect and forget device
2. Turn on Bluetooth
3. Put both pods in your ear power them both at the same time
4. Dont let go after say connected keep holding power button until you hear a chime in both ears.
Ps. (Hold for 10sec approximately )
5.After you hear chime noise double click the left ear once dont keep double clicking
6. There should be 2 TZUMI SOUND MATES under your Bluetooth dont click both of them just the first one
7. Then your connected!!!

i had the same problem with getting both earbuds to play at the same time. i tried unsuccessfully to follow marquis jones instruction but i just couldnt get them both to play at the same time. i modified the instructions on step 4 by not holding for 10 sec's, releasing both buttons after hearing the chime. after that i double clicked the left button and they both came on. i have tried several times since to duplicate the process, but since i successfully got both of them paired to each other i dont have to. hope this helps because i was as frustrated as everyone else, but since ive got them working they work fantastically, great sound.

Lynn responded : 12:59pm, 20th December 2018 (9 months ago)
I too struggled to get the earbuds to pair with one another and through reading the many posts and experimentation i found the correct way to pair the earbuds. Remove both tsumi sound mates from your bluetooth device and disable bluetooth on device. Hold both pushbuttons on earbuds untill you hear power on, then immediately release both and push left earbud twice, youll also hear pairing from both earbuds. You should hear a double chirp if done correctly. If done successfully you should only have one tzumi sound mates selection in your bluetooth selection on your device, turn on bluetooth and select tsumi sound mates and you should have sound from both earbuds. Hope this helps alleviate some aggravation.

Start by pressing and holding function button on both devices to turn on together (same time)... You'll hear a chime in both earbuds, then you double click both ear buds... You'll hear another sound... That's your earbuds pairing... Now click on your earbud on your device... NOTE: Before doing this make sure that you've unpaired your earbuds but you can leave your Bluetooth on or off... I left my Bluetooth on ... But there you go...

I posted on Dec.2, 2018 about using a tip from a post by Marquis Jones. I now need to update that my problem has returned and using that method has been of no value. The only thing that worked for me was throwing tzumi away and buying a better brand

Thank you so very much Iynn Hall it took me a long time and I got pretty frustrated but I finally managed to connect them both!

Ajking0465 responded : 8:49pm, 16th January 2019 (8 months ago)
thanks, guys, I was having the same problem. What you have to do is turn both off. Then hold the buttons on both earbuds at the same time. The red and blue light will flash at the same time. then, double click the left one and they will connect together.

Lisa responded : 9:51pm, 22nd January 2019 (8 months ago)
I get them to work but then when I turn them off and try to use them the next time I go to the gym I only hear music from one bud. Could someone give me the steps to take when I turn them back on for them to be synched and come out of both ears without having to go thru all the other steps?

Grant Nickleberry, you are a genius. Its the second chime of them pairing- that is the key. Please try the solution offered by Grant. It is the only one that worked for me. The sound is great for $25.00 earbuds. No one is looking in my ear for an Apple logo.

Grant Nickleberry, you are a genius. Its the second chime of them pairing- that is the key! AFTER THE FIRST CHIME SOUND, DOUBLE CLICK ON BOTH BUDS, NO JUST THE LEFT ONE. Please try the solution offered by Grant above on Dec 20th. It is the only one that worked for me. The sound is great for $25 earbuds. No one is looking in my ear for an Apple logo. My only complaint is they could use some more volume but good for the price. Thanks Grant!

None of this is working for me. When I turn them on at the same time I hear power on on my right bud and the blue and red light but neither for the left one. Ive tried the double clicking on the left and both and holding down but nothing seems to work for me.

Anonymous responded : 5:13am, 5th February 2019 (8 months ago)
Okay soo I tried all these STEP by STEP for like a week and none were sadly working. So I tried going to accessibility volume balance and I slid it to the middle, because it was all on the L (left) and they work great

I used Francisco santos solution to connect both my ear phones as a pair and it work

Thomas responded : 2:26pm, 2nd August 2019 (2 months ago)
After watching many videos and reading multiple "fixes," I finally got my Sound Mates to pair to each other and show up on my phone as only one Tzumi SoundMates option under Bluetooth connections. I first turned off the Bluetooth on my phone, stuck the things in my ears, pressed and held both buttons until I heard "Power On" and later 2 bings. Then I quickly pressed the right ear bud button twice and left it for a moment. I noticed the lights went out. Then I turned on my phone's Bluetooth and saw there was only 1 option for Tzumi SoundMates. I selected it. Then I tested it by playing music from my phone, and it played through both buds at the same time.
-Hope this helps.
