Tzumi Sound Mates only one side working

I bought these yesterday charged them and everything and then I tried them out. First time it worked good. Then the second time during the day I used them I tried to connect them and in my Bluetooth pairing box it said there was two tzumi soundmates. When I connected one of them it would be one of the two earbuds and when I connect the other it would connect the other earbud. Then, when I listened to something only one of them would work.

In order to pair the two devices together, turn them both off. Unpair them from the phone. Turn on each device at the same timeby holding down the buttons at the same time. Each will say power on at the same time. NOW - click the left ear's button. You should hear a tone in both earbuds. NOW you are paired together, go ahead and pair to your phone the one device in the list of discoverable devices.

Thanks Mark! Actually kept messing w/the ear buds and got em both working but how exactly I wasn't 100% sure. I recall completely turning off my phone's Bluetooth. Then turned off both earbuds. Then turned both earbuds on again and held down the button on one (or both earbuds) til I got the earbuds pairing voice prompt. After assuming they were both synced/paired... I went back into my phone, turned Bluetooth back on, then carefully picked/clicked on just ONE of the earbud Bluetooth connection options (not both). After that, they were working properly. Incidentally, if anyone is curious about sound quality (on a scale of 1-10) I give them about a 6 or 7. The mids aren't quite as smooth/clear, having a very, very slight tin can signature. The bass response is decent (better than expected) but not as hard hitting as I like. The bass could definitely use a active boost option. For the price, they're pretty good and they definitely sound better than those $19.99 wireless earbuds with the plastic band that sits around the neck with the wired earbuds that plug Into your ears(!)

Thank you. That worked for me too on Samsung S7. Thought it was the bluetooth version. But pairing with each other first fixed them.

ok, mine was the same issue.. i just turned on my ear buds (both). in your phone both will appear just choose one, and then click one of the earbuds that is not working then you will hear a tone.. and both will work..Thanks guys

I try everthing discussed but cannot pair my ear buds.
I heard power on and paring but not the beep saying that they pair?

I've tried all of the topics discussed but still cant get the two to pair.... they both worked fine within the two days when I had gotten them, I was in a rush and was clicking them to get the Bluetooth on and only one paired, I've been trying to fix this ever since.

my left Tzumi Headphone does not appear to power on, it does indicate it is charging bu when i power on i get no indication it is working.

Okay so I figured it out so what u need to do is first make sure they are both turned off. Then u turn then in at the same time and u wait till they are in a parking mode.(They are flashing red and blue) then double tap on the right ear bud and connect with the first ear bud and both should work

Turn off Bluetooth turn both headphones on at same time then double click both. Youll hear a double beep in both ears. Turn Bluetooth back on. Click tzumi soundmates

So I followed what Schon said to do turning both on in pairing mode and double clicking the right earbud and they both paired together!!!!! Thank you so much because I was literally 5 minutes from returning them lol.

I think I may have a solution. Try resetting the Master Earbud before pairing.

To Reset the Master Earbud.

1. Hold down button on BOTH earbuds until you hear 2 chimes after the pairing prompt.
2. Then quickly press the button 2 times on the (left or right) master earbud until you hear a chime in that ear ONLY.

Connect Earbuds to Bluetooth
1. Press and hold BOTH earbuds until you hear the pairing Prompt in BOTH ears.
2. Select ONLY ONE Tzumi Soundmates in the Bluetooth options on the device. IF YOU SEE TWO OPTIONS YOU MAY HAVE TO REPEAT THE PROCESS OVER AGAIN.

3. Once device confirms Device Connected You should hear in both ears. Hope this helps.

OK so all you do is turn the headphones on and hold the two buttons until it makes a beep take the right ear phone and click it twice. PROBLEM SOLVED. After 3 frocking hours of trying. Hahahahahaha ITS SO STUPID AND EASY. Your welcome!!

Turn both Earbuds off & disconnect from Bluetooth. Turn both on at same time. Double tap Right ear Bud. Then reconnect to Bluetooth....

What worked for me after trying all these with no success was to hold both headphones at the same time until I heard a loud beep in both ears. Then I pressed the right bud twice and heard another tone an then went to my Bluetooth an it worked.

For me i shut off blue tooth, turned both headphones on, and after i hear they were pairing, i double tapped both buttons n heard beeps and then after a couple seconds they double beeped (indicating pair success). I then turned on blue tooth and connected to both working. Tried on both a galaxy note 8 and iphone 8 n dont believe phone matters at all. After it works once they always connect together.

I need help!! Only one of my ear bud is paired. The right ear bud is flashing red and blue. In my bluetooth settings there is only one tzumI and that one is paired. I don't hear any chimes if I double click. Ive tried unparing and reparing no luck please help!!

idk how many ppl even still have these lol but if you haven't returned yours yet my issue is that it required a double click just tapping the left once didn't do it. Had to do it twice in rapid succession just like double clicking on a computer.

Unpair them from your phone amd forget the device. Then power on both by pressing the side buttons at the same time, you'll hear a voice that says power on. Then double click the keft ear bud sound button, you'll hear a beep in both earbuds after which they should be paired to each other. Finally, pair them to your phone or bluetooth capable device. Followed Johns instructions, and finally got both ear buds working. I started over from scratch. I believe the key is to get the Earbuds paired and then pair to the device. Sound quality is great! iPhone 8

If you double click the earbud that isn't pairing, then it should connect. There will be a different sound it makes to show that it is all good.

My right earbud NEVER has turned on. It is fully charged. None of these steps will work on a non-powered on earbud. How do I fix an earbud that won't power on?

Okay, so, i was using them one day, they were both working perfectly fine for 3 hours. And then the right ear bud just stopped working. I have charged it for days. And i have tried to turn it on. It wont turn on. My left ear bud works wonders right now. But the right-NOPE! help!

So, I tried all of these and like a combination of theme worked.

1) Turn on both Bluetooth headphones at the same time
2) keep the button held (so like, keep them held down from the power button.)
3) you should hear the chime in both years
4) double tap them both (to make sure only one of the labels pops up in the Bluetooth connection on your phone instead of two)
5) pair them and hopefully they work.

Literally, Ive been trying all these and this seemed to work for me. Lol, Im literally just using these until I can actually afford air pods

It all worked for me, the pairing and had sound coming from both ear buds, for about a minute and then the left stop working again? Anyone else have this issue? How do I keep the left ear bud working? They sound great when they both work.

I'm having the same problem. I just got these a couple days ago and it worked fine the first day. The second day, it wouldn't connect. How do I fix this? I would greatly appreciate it.

When i Connect my airpods to my bluetooth, they connect fine, but two Tzumi things show up, but when i dissconnect one of them the other airpod works. it is like it is off and on.

Step one: turn off both Tzumi Sound Mates.

Step two: turn off Bluetooth

Step three: turn on both Sound Mates

Step four: turn on Bluetooth

Step five: double tap right sound mate until you hear a ding

Step six: double tap left sound mate until you hear a ding

Should be fixed :)

Disconnect the earbuds from your phone .
Turn them off , then turn ehm back on
(At the same time )
Then at the same time click each earbud 3 times and on the third click hold it till you hear a ding

More than a little frustrated at this point.
I ordered a pair of Tzumi Bluetooth earbuds this summer for bike riding and they worked for about 3-4 months before the right bud died completely. These were wired together so my guess is a wire lost connection. I emailed Tzumi and they agreed to send me a replacement even though I hadn't saved my receipt, which was kind of them and I do appreciate that. They sent a completely wireless pair different from the ones I had purchased. I didn't mind this since they fit more comfortably and I liked the idea of totally wireless buds. The left bud has not worked properly from the start though. I have tried everything I can think of but the left bud audio comes in and out sporadically. It must be connected since it gives audio briefly and occasionally, but listening to audio this way is terribly annoying so I can only use the right bud. This is the same problem I had with the pair that was replaced. Since they already replaced the first pair despite my lack of sales receipt I don't want to request another replacement, but this is still frustrating.

Ok I got these at Walmart they both work s separately so I tried pairing them together and now the left earbud wont do anything I dont have a red light for your charger but the right one works great the left one does nothing

What you gotta do if you have a Samsung galaxy s8 of higher and both arent pairing, go to bluetooth, click the 3 dots and click dual audio this allows 2 devices to be used at once and both earbuds are different so u have to have the dual on, then when you hold the button down after the voice said it's on you will hear a beep, click both bluetooth devices and it should connect both of them and they will work at the same time

If you are having trouble with your soundmates. What you do is hold both of them at the same time until it says ''Power On'' then after then click the right earphone two times then you should hear two beeps then after that ''BOTH'' of them should work :)

Nope. No matter what I do I cannot get both earbuds to play on an iPhone 8 Plus. Been working on this for two solid days. Ready to just trash them and buy from Apple. Not worth my aggravation. They still show up as two separate devices.,

Just picked up a pair of these and having the same problem. Only thing is... It seems this is a new version where they have eliminated the button, the only way of fixing the problem, and kept the problem.
Don't know what to do
