I purchased the Tzumi SoundMates wireless stereo earbuds, I can pair each earbud separately but I cannot seem to pair the buds together. There doesn't seem to be any instruction in the manual on how to pair the buds to each other (as a few other blogs have indicated needs to happen). I'm trying to pair the earbuds to my Samsung Galaxy S4. I tried to twice click the right earbud after I turned on to pairing mode and then set up bluetooth on my phone, still did not work.

I have the same problem. The ear buds will not pair. I wrote Tzumi customer service and this was their response: Please try the following:

PRO-BUDS SYNCING
Try turning your Bluetooth off.
Turn on the right ear bud 1st (Make sure the Ear Bud is turned off and then you will hold the Power button for about 5 seconds until you hear Pairing)
You will then just Power on the left ear bud and then click both power buttons once. They must sync with each other 1st before connecting them to your Bluetooth.
Turn off the Right ear bud if both Power off at the same time you have successfully paired them together.

Customer Service Department

I have followed these directions to a tee , multiple times and they never pair.

Thanks for sharing Kyle, that's really appreciated. However these directions are for pro buds, which is a different product to soundmates!? I think they sent you instructions for another device... check with them and let us know if you get any new directions.

You first need to pair your earbuds together so delete your two separate syncs and then make sure both earbuds are turned off
To Pair earbuds to one another
1. Turn off both left and right side
2. Press and hold both multifunction buttons on both left and right till you hear a ding in both
3. Wait and few seconds to finish bother pairing
4. Rescan for bluetooth devices on you device you wish to use them on and congratulations you have now paired both sides as one

The correct way to dual pairing the sound mates is as follow;
1- press and old one of the two earbuds until u see a rotating flashing red and blue lights, do the same exact thing with the second earbud.
2- double click on either earbud, the other ears light should turn off.
3- go to ur phone, turn on Bluetooth and connect only one earbud, the second earbud will and should not connect, and dont worry thats how it should work.
4- play a video or a song on ur phone, u should be able to stereo hear both earbuds.
