I have the same issue here as well.
Just received my JBL Cinema 250 1 week ago and facing this issue.

The sub woofer gives off popping sound randomly.
1. I am connecting this with my mac book air with latest update of operating system
2. Similar popping sound when connecting with my Asus Zenfone 3

Would be extremely grateful to anyone who is able to resolve this problem.
I am looking to refund this with a harmon kardon sound bar if this doesn't get resolved, thank you.
