Why won't my sylvania portable Bluetooth speaker, model number sp953, hold a charger? It will play a couple hours then die. Both times it's happened I would walk by it a few minutes later and it would be on and just could barely hear white noise coming from it. Thoughts?

How old is it out of interest? It does sound like it has a bad internal battery.

I've had it just over year now and it's been used maybe 10 to 15 times at the most.

I'd make sure that the charging process is actually charging it and that you don't have a bad cable or charging source. But otherwise it does sound like maybe a bad internal battery and I'd return to your retailer if within warranty.
