Will connecting a bluetooth adapter to a usb3.0 extension cable connected to a usb 2.0 port cause problems?

Hi AJ, no it should work fine. Both cables and usb ports are backwards compatible (although of course there are physical different socket types but they work if you have adapters).

@Chris. I meant as in the radio frequencies. I heart that USB3.0 causes problems with bluetooth because of the radio frequencies emitted at both ends of USB

USB 3 can cause interference but in this case it shouldn't as the port is producing a USB 2 signal.
